[Opinions] Tegwared
It's a Welsh masculine name (although seems like it go either way), and my current name crush. I wanted to love it the first time I saw it in a book (referring to a guy from history), but I couldn't find anywhere what it meant. So I decided to try and figure it out for myself* and came to the conclusion that it must come from the Welsh words teg "fair/beautiful" and gwared "deliverance/salvation." That's a pretty cool meaning, and knowing that made me let myself love it more. If anyone has any evidence for or againt this, please let me know (I'm looking at you, Pie). :)What do you think of it? I think it has a really cheerful, friendly feel. Tegwared Heilyn or Tegwared Hefin are my favorite combos I came up with. I tried pairing it with non-Welsh things but it didn't work out very well.*Teg was easy, but first I tried to figure out wared and while no dictionaries listed it, Google Translate said it meant "disposal." :/ I didn't approve and was skeptical. Good thing I thought to try gwared!
