[Opinions] Roman?
Any thoughts on Roman? I am thinking about adding it to my list. I am usually not a fan of this kind of name but this has really grown on me. I do love Rowan as well but I think Roman sounds a little better. I am just not sure stylistically. Also, what names go well with Roman for siblings?

Roman is reasonably common in my area. A good name.
As to siblings, one of the Romans I know has a brother named Pierre.

Personally, I dislike it. It sounds too much like a description- as in, someone from Rome. I do love Rowan, though.

I love Roman. I also like Rowan and Ronan. Roman's siblings would be Zoran or Zora and Lydia.

I like it :) I think I prefer it to Rowan, because Rowan is getting a bit to popular on girls lately, whereas I think Roman is exclusively male.

My nephew's name is Roman Lucas. His sister is Lilia Leigh (with a kre8tiv spelling)
My niece also goes by Lilo and Leela which are also really cute with Roman.
I guess I think you could go with any romanesque or latinate name to go with Roman. Or you could go the soap opera route and have a Donovan, Ethan, Roman type of thing going on...
It could really go with many, many styles of names.

I like Roman. I've seen a couple young boys named that, and it seems to hit the mark, doesn't try too hard, isn't too aloof or too rough-tough seeming. It's not exactly my style - a little too unusual in my experience is all. But it's on my long list of favorites.
