I don't know which to use for my main character:

Edith (who always goes by Eda - EE-da).

Clememtine (who mostly goes by Clem).

Eda if she is more of a bold heroine. Clem if she is more of a gentle sufferer.

I say go with Edith nn Eda (though I prefer Eda as a nn for Edwina). Clementine is also nice, though I dislike the nn Clem, but I think that Eda would be a better name for your main character.

I prefer the name Clementine, but not the nn Clem. Perhaps Tina or something else would be better.
