I really like it for a boy. But it's too connected with the Salem witch trials to be usable, at least to me.

I LOVE Salem but only for a boy. I'd gladly use it with NN Sam.

If I heard it, I would think it was the child of a goth couple. Or a black cat. I don't care for it.

I think of it as definitely a male name. However, I can't help but also think of it as a cat name, because of the show Sabrina the Teenage Witch.

I think of it as a male name, specifically a male cat name. I associate the name with the goofy cat on Sabrina the Teenage Witch. I can't imagine it on a person.

I kind of like it, it has a bit of mystery to it. I would use it for a girl but probably only as a MN (would love to see someone gutsy enough to use it as a first name).
