[Opinions] Combos for Sunny
I have decided (as of two hours ago) that Sunny is my new favorite name for a girl. Think about it. Sunny and Edmund "Ned". Sunny and Ned. Yes! I did think for a bit about putting a more formal name like Susan, Susannah or Sunniva with Edmund, but I decided against it because I don't like any of them more than Sunny. Now that I've got that figured out, I'm curious as to what middle names you guys think go well with Sunny. Any combo ideas? Please and thank you!
P.S.-When I typed Sunny and Ned into Google seach it led me to a name post from an expectant mother on another forum, whose family consists of Felix Lysander, Olive Matilda, Maeve Tallulah, Susannah Blair "Sunny", Edward Atticus "Ned" and Jude Rafferty. How awesome!

Thank you for the combos! I love:Sunny Christina, though the K is a bit sunnier.Sunny Constance -I love the meaning here.Sunny Hannah -This is adorable! However, I already like Hannah because of the song Hard Hearted Hannah, which has given me a different vision of the name.Sunny Winifred -This makes me think of sun shining on the white outside walls of antique German houses. Love!Sunny BettinaSunny Annabeth -Bless your heart for using Annabeth. Has there ever been a happier combo? I think not.Sunny Edwina -This is like Sunny Winifred, except the walls would be light pink. I think it's difficult to find a name more charming than Edwina, but would you think less of me if I said that I often pronounce it with a V instead of a W? In that way it reminds me of Edwige. Oh! Sunny Edwige would be nice.Sunny Eloise -I like this, but also maybe Sunny Heloise, with the H pronounced.Sunny LucilleSunny Geraldine -So sweet!Sunny Lujayn, Sunny Lou Jane? -I love them both, but I do have to admit, the idea of the meanings sunny and silver together is quite romantic. Sort of like a sun/moon thing.

Edvina is pretty amazing! I'm glad you like Sunny Nell. It sounds like a storybook, which is always a plus for me.

Ooh! Ooh! (I'm back in school waving my arm in the air furiously to be called on.) I have Sunny Caroline and Sunny Aurelia as stock combos. I'm especially fond of Sunny Caroline. I picture a, well, sunny day in the state of North or South Carolina. It just sounds so happy. :-)I've loved Sunny for years, although I prefer it as a nn. I usually associate it with Alexandra, but I can easily see it as a nn for Susan / Susannah and Sunniva. Also: Sonya / Sonia / Sonja, Marisol, Soleil, Alison, etc. But yes, it can stand on its own quite nicely.

I love Sunny Caroline and Sunny Aurelia! Especially Sunny Aurelia. Oh, Aurelia brings so much power and elegance to Sunny. Sunny Caroline is very happy, and having lived in South Carolina, I totally get what you mean. =) The happy feeling is the reason why I think Sunny may be the perfect name for my hypothetical daughter. The weather today was so beautiful. Low 50s, slight breeze. I was standing outside about 1pm, sun shining on me, watching the reflection of the sky and trees in a puddle. I had a feeling of intense happiness that reminded me so much of being a child. The feeling of being outside, no agenda, just happy to be in that moment, taking pleasure in what's around you.Alexandra nn Sunny is inspired! I love Sonya/ Sonia nn Sunny, as Sonia is an old favorite of mine. Marisol is great too.

Yay!I'm not sure why, but traditionally Sunny was used as a nn for Alexandra. Tsarina Alexandra was called Sunny (although her birth name was Alix, a form of Alice, so that might not be a valid one.) But I also know of Sunny von Bulow, famous heiress whose husband was tried for her attempted (or was it actual?) murder. Her full name was Alexandra. In any event, I associate Sunny with Alexandra. Sandra --> Sandy --> Sunny? Who ever knows?I forgot one combo: Sunny Louisa. (But someone may already have suggested that one.)

I didn't know any of that before! Pretty neat. I love Sunny Louisa. Louisa has really been growing on me lately. Thanks!

Sunny is kind of cute, but it's a lightweigt for sure. It sounds like a nickname, just like Sonny does for a boy. But you don't have to use a related name as the full name. Anybody can be called Sunny if they have a sunshiny personality. You have to be careful with middle names, so you don't have Sunny Sky or Sunny Rose, which adds to the goofy aspect of it.Sunny AllisonSunny AngelaSunny BethSunny ChristineSunny DoloresSunny ElaineSunny GabrielleSunny HelenSunny JacquelineSunny KathleenSunny LouiseSunny MichelleSunny PatriciaSunny RebeccaSunny Victoria

Sunny Jean
Sunny Leona
Sunny Nataliahope those help

I can see how an adult Sunny might not be taken seriously, but I don't think it'll happen as often as most people assume it will. There are a lot of adults who go by nicknameish names and do just fine.Sunny Madeline and Natalia are lovely! Thank you. =)

Thanks! I was actually looking for combos along the line of middle names for Sunny (I worded my OP badly-going to fix!), but these suggestions are great too! I love Sunny and Theodore, though I think I would call him Theo. Sunny and Wendy is too much for me, but Sunny and Gwendolen nn Wendy is perfect. Sunny and Theodora or Patricia is really great too. I love Trisha, or Tish. As for Theodora, there are actually a few nicknames that aren't Dora for her. Dorie, Thea, Theo or my personal favorite Tea (TAY-ah).Thanks again!
