Fifteen years have gone by in the Brown family. The kids are mostly grown up now, and the only ones who still live at home are Kala and Quinna, who are still in high school. Everyone else is either in college or has moved out to start their own lives.
Shiloh, 23, graduated from college last year with a degree in engineering. He currently works at a private firm as a structural engineer.
Adi, 21, got an associates degree in dog grooming, and is working for a grooming parlor not far from the Brown family home. She married her high school sweetheart six weeks after high school graduation, and the two of them have two young children.
Elian, 20, blossomed into a stellar athlete in high school. He's currently playing professional ice hockey in New York. He has a girlfriend, with whom he is very serious. He is planning to propose to her next month on their second anniversary.
Verity and Pal, 18, are both going to college in California. They are at separate schools, but are happy that they are in the same state, at least.
Kala and Quinna, 15, are in high school. They have very varied interests and no idea where life will take them.
