[Opinions] Scarlet
I fell in love with the name Scarlet. What do you think? I like Scarlett too but I think I prefer Scarlet as a color name.I love Gone With the Wind but for some reason still prefer Scarlet over Scarlett. Scarlett is so heavy and dark while Scarlet is lighter and happier.I only know two, they would both be in their mid-late 20s now and they both spell it Scarlett.Do you think the Scar-part is a bad thing? Do you prefer Scarlet or Scarlett? Is it getting too common? How many do you know?

I prefer Scarlett, as Scarlet seems incomplete and too obviously a color name. But I don't really like the name anyway, it seems so theatrical and well, heavy.

I love that movie too, but also prefer Scarlet. I don't know any and think it's a beautiful name. It sounds forever youthful.

I love this name. I, too, prefer Scarlet over Scarlett. The second 't' just makes it seem heavier and almost like a stutter. I don't know any Scarlets or Scarletts. My only hesitation with the name is the "scar" part but I think it could be overlooked.

It's okay. The Scar- sound puts me off. I think Scarlett is the only acceptable spelling. Scarlet makes me think of scarlet fever every single time.So, basically in my head...Scarlett = O'Hara
Scarlet = infectious disease

I like Scarlet a lot. I think it's better than Scarlett, mostly because Scarlet is the name of the color and also because the double "t" looks frilly.
I don't know anyone named Scarlet or Scarlett. The Scar part doesn't bother me.

I love Scarlet too. Scarlett is okay, but something about only the one t makes it seem more fiesty to me (weird i know as it's only one letter)I know two Scarlett's too (one is mid 20s and one whose 5)
