[Opinions] Thoughts on Greta?
Greta would honor my Grandma Margaret, its one that I haven't really thought much about till recently.Any ideas for a middle name? I'm kind of stumped.

I think it's gorgeous. I actually prefer Margaret "Greta". Also this means that they could use a more grown up nickname as an adult, because Greta is a little childish. Greta Josephine
Greta Madeleine
Greta Persephone
Greta Therese
Greta Phoebe

Greta Rosalia

I used to think the sounds were a bit harsh, but I've warmed to Greta and now see her as rather sweet. Haven't tried pairing her, and I'm not sure how your tastes run, but here's a smattering of ideas...Greta Blythe
Greta Constance
Greta Dorothy
Greta Sylvie
Greta Suzanne
Greta Caroline
Greta Violet
Greta Joy
Greta Phoebe
Greta Naomi
Greta Tuesday ("t"s may be a bit close but I kind of like the feel of this)
Greta Marlo (Marlo's not in the db and I'm really not familiar with her but she's bugging me)

Aw, Greta is such a sweet name. It reminds me of evergreen trees, mountains, and Christmastime -- I usually don't like red and green together, but it's so pleasant and homely (in a positive sense) here. It's quite lively, too (more than Margaret, in my opinion). I think it'll age well, too -- I can picture Greta on a little girl or an old grandmother.Greta is also the highest-ranked feminine name on my PNL (77% with 23 votes). I can't find anything I dislike about it. What pronunciation are you using? I personally say gree-tah, but greh-tah is nice as well.

I really love Greta, she's just so fun! I'm seriously in love with Greta Leigh and then any other MN that has "lee" in it, lol - Greta Leonie, Greta Liesel, Greta Eulalie, Greta Aurelie, Greta Liorit, Greta Holly....
