I like it. It's common and I wouldn't use it myself because it has too many associations for me (both good and bad), but it's one of the popular names that I like. I'd put it in a category with Aidan, Liam, Sean, Gavin, Ben, Conor, Dylan, etc. and not Wyatt, Brett, Josh, Justin, etc. They're basically the same level of being popular boys names, but Ryan is one that gives me a better vibe than the others. If I did decide to use it ever, I'd make sure to give it a longer and less common middle name.
