[Facts] Katya/Katia

It's either KAHT-yah or KAHT-zha (the zh like in pleasure). It can also be KUT-yah.
Hmmm. It' sort of hard to convey in writing. :-/

I like Katya. Pronounced,,,,
...the way Katya is written in Russian on the name link, it would be pronounced like KAHT-ya (Trust me. I can read Russian very well). I personally really like this name. I think it is so cute for a little girl but it would age well too imo. Its on my name list.

I know a (British) girl named Katya. In practice, she pronounces it like "Catcha". Technically, I think it's KAT-yuh.

Catcha was how Kat-yah was coming out in my accent, too. It sounds nice in my head, but not out loud.
COT-yuh.
I pronounce it as "CUT-yah"
I think this is the most usual pronounciation, except for the English speakers.
"But it’s all right now.
I learned my lesson well.
You see you can’t please everyone
So you got to please yourself."

"It does not become me to make myself smaller than I am." (Edith Södergran 1891-1923)

It's KAT-yah -- two syllables, not three.

I hadn't even thought of that pronunciation! Thankyou so much!
