[Opinions] Bernadine
We discussed Ernestine. I was wondering if Bernadine would have similar reactions. I always thought the name had a heavy-like charm that I was drawn too. In fact, I'd love meeting a Bernadine at any age. Opinions?

I know a Bernadine who is my age (28), and I actually have a strongly negative reaction to the name because of her. It could be lovely, but I just can't think of it as such. Damn.

I love Bernadine! It's sassy and brassy.

I don't think Bernadine is as far down the line as Ernestine in awkwardly awesomeness. It is a nice name, but it feels more polished and sophisticated.

I prefer the sound of Bernadette, but Bernadine is alright. Because the sounds don't particularly appeal to my own ear, I would likely, out of curiosity, ask if the name honored someone, should I happen to meet a young Bernadine. Either way, it's a respectable choice.

It's heavy all right, heavy and old sounding. Ernestine has a little bit of charm to it, but I don't see it in Bernadine.Bernadette at least has a Four Tops song.

I prefer Bernadette. Bernadine sounds clunky, and I can't find any charm in it.

Bernadine is my MIL name. I think Nadine would be a cute nn.
