The Gilbert-Rainville Family
DW: Emily June "Mila" (grey, golden blond)
DH: Shiloh Jack (hazel, brown)
DS: Alasdair Seth "Ali" (green, light brown)
DS: Alexander Jeffrey "Lex" (green, blond)
DD/DD: Leila Sage / Sienna May (green-grey, blond)Mila and Shiloh are pleased to report that Alasdair is doing very well in the first grade. His teacher says he's very bright and plays well with the other children. For the most part, he has adjusted well to the transition from kindergarten to elementary school, but because he only attended kindergarten in the afternoon, it has taken him some time to get used to being at school and away from his parents for the entire day. Sometimes his mom or dad comes to visit him at lunch time, and that seems to help ease his separation anxiety.Lex loves preschool, although, like Alasdair, he doesn't like being separated from mommy and daddy, and often cries when they drop him off. However, his teacher reports that it usually only takes him a few minutes to calm down and start playing with the other kids. He even has a girlfriend, an adorable redheaded girl named Cecilia. Lex says that he's going to marry her, but he wants to wait until they're at least twelve.Lex's favorite part of the playground is the swingset, although it took him a while to stop being afraid of it after falling off a swing last year and breaking his wrist. Fortunately he's a very resiliant child, and all he remembers about the ordeal is that he got a cool cast on his arm and a lot of people gave him presents. The whole family is very excited about the birth of Leila and Sienna. Lex says that he wants twin brothers next, but Shiloh and Mila think one set of twins is enough.

Sometimes I just feel like smacking people with the dictionary, just to see if they absorb any intelligence through osmosis.
