UK - MidlandsBrittany - I personally give it 3 syllables, with Britney as 2 syllables
Alannah and Alanna - a-LAN-a (short a sounds)
Alana - I'd probably say a-LAH-na for this spellingAlyssa and Elissa are the same
Erin is with a short 'e' sound, whereas Aaron would be A-run (short 'a' sound)
Carrie with a short 'a' and Kerry with a short 'e' so no, not the same

I say Brittany as two syllables.
Alana, Alanna, and Alannah I pronounce all the same way ah-LAH-naFor Alyssa and Elissa, I say the first syllable a little differently. More of an eh sound than and ah sound for Elissa, but not too different.
Same for Erin and Aaron, except I say the second syllable differently. Erin is more of and short i sound while Aaron is more of an uh sound.
Carrie and Kerry I pronounce the same though.I'm from the US.

Brittany: two syllables
Alana (and all variants therein): ah-LAN-uh
Alyssa: uh-LIS-uh
Elissa: ee-LIS-uh
I pronounce Erin and Aaron the same way. Same with Carrie and Kerry.I'm American, so that probably influences my pronunciation of several of these names.

Brittany- kind of in the middle? I have this really subtle and short but still present uh sound between the Brit and nyAlana- uh-LAN-uh
Alanna- uh-LAHN-uh
Alannah- uh LAHN-uh
(looking at that it doesn't make much sense to me, but that is how I say it)Alyssa= uh-LISS-uh
Elissa= eh-LISS-uh the difference is subtle but it's there
Erin= EHR-in
Aaron= AIR-uhn again kind of subtle, but still there
Carrie and Kerry I do say the same.I'm from the Southern US.

Brittany - I pronounce it with three syllables
Alana / Alanna / Alannah - I pronounce all like ah-LAH-naAlyssa & Elissa - Slightly different sounds but v. similar. Elissa has a more pronounced EL sound.
Erin & Aaron - No, these names aren't pronounced the same to me. Both have short vowel sounds at the start but different vowels. Erin is EH-rin, where Aaron is like A-rən.
Carrie & Kerry - Again these sound completely different to me. Carrie is like KA-ree and Kerry is like KER-ee.I'm in the UK.

Brittany = Brit-nee
Alana = ah-LAH-na
Same for others.Alyssa = ah-liss-a
Elissa = ELL-issa like Melissa without the m.Aaron and Erin- No. A-ren. The A is short, like in arrow and the -ron part sounds more like an e in end than an o sound.
Erin = EH-rinCarrie rhymes with marry and Kerry rhymes with merry.I'm in Australia.

I say Brittany with sort of a glottal stop on T, but my tongue touches for the T without making a T sound, and stays a moment for the N, as I'm making the second "syllable."
BRIH(t)'(nn)nee, almost three syllables. If I talk fast, it might sound like 2. Brittany is slightly different from Britney for me, though - the unn in the middle disappears in Britney.Alana = a LAN a
Alanna, Alannah = same wayAlyssa = uh LISS uh
Elissa = eh LISS uh, but I met one who pronounced it like uh Lisa
Erin = AIR in, Aaron = AIR run
Carrie = KerryUS (Western)
