[Opinions] Harvey
What do you think of Harvey? I'm surprised it doesn't even make the top 1000.

It's ok... on other people's children... just doesn't draw me... That said, it would be a nice change from some of the overused trendy names I encounter.

It's really not even in the top 1000? Wow. I kind of like it. I wouldn't use it, but I would be happy to meet one. It has kind of a retro vibe for me, and also reminds me of the character on Sabrina the Teenage Witch, since that was my first exposure to the name.I always thought Harvey and Clark would make a fun sibset. Now, Clark I would actually use.

I don't like the sound of it but it reminds me of Harvey Dent from Batman (a cool, if not exactly positive association) and Harvey Milk, who I don't know much about except the basics but seems like a positive figure to associate to the name.So it's kind of middle of the road for me.

Well I like it but only because it reminds me of Sabrina the Teenage Witch. It's kind of old-manish and dopey sounding.

I can understand why it's more popular in non-rhotic countries. Har har harvey is a lot more dopey than hah-vy.

It's one of my least favorite names. It's just not attractive at all to me. The look and the sound of it just really put me off.

I've never heard of a real life Harvey. The only connection I have for the name is the character on Sabrina the Teenage Witch.

I think of Harvey Wallbangers and rabbits, but I still like it. Harvey has that mid-20th-century feel that I really enjoy. Give it 15 years, and I bet it will be well into the top 1000. It has already made a comeback in the UK. I think we'll catch up.

I'm not a fan, but it's actually quite popular where I live. It's ranked #47 in the UK.

First thought...movie mogul. Right after that...rabbit. I think Harvey is alright. I suspect most people would consider it an "old man" name.

Harvey strikes me as one of those names that other people would consider a "loser" name. It just seems kind of pitiful and also dated, like Ralph and Stanley. It seems jovial in an simple, goofy way. I like it.

It's about fifty years out of date. Even on a man that old, it has a doofus or loser quality to it.
