Not sure how these are pronounced, whether you mean they are "tay-o" names, but thanks for sharing them. I love Theodora, but pronounce her as "thee-o". Theoline sounds nice, if tay-o-LEEN is correct.

PronunciationIn French the "th" would make a "t" sound so yes it would be somewhat like "tay"

Meaning, etcApparently means 'esteeming/honoring God' and it'd be more like tay-o-TEEM. It was used by early Christians, including an early saint; dropped out of favour and got resurrected in 1945 when a French author wrote a novel with the name in the title; and has been in minimal use ever since. (source: http://www.tous-les-prenoms.com/prenoms/garcons/theotime.html)Nice little list of names! I like most of them.

Thank you, was wondering about whether the last syllable ought to be stressed. When I saw it in the credits, I thought, "that can't be thee-o-"time". :)

I'm totally delighted to have been amde familiar with it - clearly it marks one of the spots, or quanta, where Terry Pratchett's Discworld and our world intersect. I give you Mr (Jonathan) Teatime, which he insists is pronounced tay-a-tee-may, not Four O;Clock. Not a role model, he joined the Assassins' Guild after the death of his parents (unexplained? Probably not)and famously tried to assassinate the DW equivalent of Father Christman - the Hogfather! Of the other names, I like Clive, Barnaby (prefer Barnabas), Stefan (prefer Stephen in English), Graeme (prefer Graham), Belinda and Imogen, and I could live with Tamzin though the spelling is odd. Could also live with Hendrik and Florent, if the surrounding language was appropriate. And I know a delightful pug named Edwina! Charming dog; wags all the time.
