[Opinions] Re: Justine
in reply to a message by guru
I've never seen Melancholia. But I've loved the name Justine ever since I first read it in Mary Shelley's Frankenstein.I think it is an elegant name that is not stuffy like some elegant names. It has a playful quality. It sounds both soft and crisp. A Justine seems like they could be rich or poor or middle class. I can imagine a little girl through an old woman with this name.I like both Justine and Justina. I think I prefer Justine but they are both lovely. As Lily mentioned I also love -ine names. My favorites are Augustine, Justine, Delphine, Maxine, Apolline and Ernestine. I like Adeline but it has a much different sound than those. I like -line names as well.
