[Opinions] Abigayla
What do you think? I misheard Abigail as this on the television. I thought it was quite cute

I really dislike this. I think Abigail has such strong roots. I can't help thinking of Abigail Adams, and just... Abigayla is just horrible in comparison. It is so contrived, and not even in a way that makes the name sound better, in my opinion.

Hmm. I have mixed thoughts on this one. On one hand, it seems contrived, but on the other hand, it doesn't bother me all that much.

Not bad. I'd like Abigaila more i think, it's less clumsy looking.what about Abigaia?? now there's a cool one

I'm delighted that it wasn't a real sighting, or hearing. It looks like something a sentimental eight-year-old would secretly name her doll - the one she hides away so her friends won't think she's babyish.

What do you think of Abigaia? I suppose you could change that to Abigaila if you wanted and that would be nicer to look at than Abigayla at least.

First thought is ew... Like Abigail quite a bit, but something about this - esp. w/ the y in there- that just doesn't do it for me. Could prob'ly get used to the sound though.

Am not a fan of Abigail myselfbut just starting to think Gayla is a better name

Not sure how you feel about word names but, for the same sound, I might be tempted to go with Gala, as in a gala event or celebration. Seems sleeker and more elegant to me.

Sorry. I don't like it.

It looks/sounds like a fusion of Abigail and Kayla. Yuck, sorry.

Oy gevalt, NO. It's mangled and misspelled and unnecessary on all levels.

sometimes it's the little things that kill...And in this case that one tiny syllable is what kills it.
