I first heard this name when my husband and I were watching a documentary on the History Channel, and my first thought was that it sounded like "Skippy-O," which made me laugh. I do like the name, though - I love ancient Roman names (I first heard of Flaminius in the same documentary and fell in love with that one). I also tend to be fond of names that make me smile or laugh :-D

As for real life use, however... it's probably too over-the-top for a first name. It'd make a kickass middle name, though.
