Help[Opinions] Florez
While playing Shurochka's "Invent-A-Name" game, I came up with Florez for my DD (The instructions were: "Take a word in a foreign language and spell it as it might be pronounced in English").
WDYT? Do you think it sounds better for a boy or a girl?

Flórez is already a Spanish/Sephardic Jewish surname, meaning "son of Froila" (Froila means "lord, master" in Visigothic). Therefore I'd only use Flórez or Florez for a boy.
Flora's lovely for a girl. Flores would be OK too, since it means "flowers"; but it's too tomboyish for me anyway.

I like Flor, Flora, even Fleur. Florez looks like a grafitti, not a name, but I have to admit, as a ctreated name, it's not bad at all!
Because I associate to the above-mentioned names, I think it would not suit a boy, but it is a bit too masculine for girls for my taste.
