[Opinions] Dantea
DanteaSaw this name online and thought it was pretty. I would pronounce it don-TAY-uh. The nickname of Tea (TAY-uh) would be cute. WDYT?

I don't like it. I don't like the 'don' sound of it, I think. Actually, the individual syllables really put me off. The nickname is cute, but I would almost prefer if just that was used instead.

Yuck. I'd like Dante on a girl, or Dontaya, better than that. Not sure why. It's not that bad. I just don't like it - I get a really prissy vibe from that spelling.

If I saw this name I would assume it was supposed to be pronounced the same as Dante, and used for a boy. I've had many students with variations of this name.I do like the name Dante, anyway.

I saw it somewhere online once (not sure where) and someone was considering it for a boy, so I'm guessing it was just a kre8iv spelling of Dante. Not surprising, because I've seen stuff like Dontez, Dantai, and Dontaey (wtf) before.Dantea as a feminine form of Dante is interesting, but sounds a little contrived.
