[Opinions] Haley (b) & Chiara
I'm really liking Chiara today... it's a bit sturdier sounding than Keira. WDYT?And how about Haley on a boy? One of my best friends actually knows one! He's in his 20s I assume

I know a couple Chiaras (spelled that way) so the name isn't new to me. I guess it's sturdier sounding than Keira, I think Keira will be more strongly connected to the actress. I don't know if I like Haley on a boy, and I'm not against unisex names, I think Avery, Sydney, Riley, etc. work wonderfully on both. I just don't like Haley on boy, I feel like everyone would mistake him for a girl just written on paper while the other names have more of a history of being male names so it wouldn't be so much of an "oh!" moment.

I don't know that I'd call Chiara sturdier than Keira, or sturdy at all. It's pretty frilly and fanciful. Also it's not easy to know how to pronounce it.Haley is not a boy's name now, and anyway I prefer Hayley or Hailey.

I prefer Keira to Chiara. Chiara is nms but it isn't bad, but if I only heard it I would assume it was spelled Kiara, which I dislike.Haley on a boy reminds me of Haley Joel Osment. I much prefer Haley on a girl, but I do like Hale on a boy (one syllable, pronounced as it looks). I could deal with a male Haley nn Hale.
