I asked about this name not too long ago :) I really like it and mulberry trees have personal significance to me. Freya Mulberry has been one of my go-to combs lately. If you really wanted to use it as a FN I think Berry or Melba(Mulbe) could work to shorten it.... if he/she(?) ever wanted to

Yes, and also mulberries are gross. But I ate them when I was a kid. Eww. Although, like Ismene, mulberry trees do have personal significance to me. But I think it would make a very funny name, even in the middle, and I'm usually okay with very random nature names.

They do taste pretty bad--but I do love it as a color.

I've heardThey're really good as jam or in pie and it changes their taste a bit when they're cooked. But I've never tried them cooked.

Wait, what? How do mulberries taste bad? They're, like, pure sugar. You know you're not supposed to eat them when they're red, right?

Dude no mulberries are so good!
Before I knew they were OK to eat I would gather up tens and tens of them and them stomp in them bare-footed. Best feeling ever. Almost as good as eating them.

As a first name, too much. As a middle name, it's fine.
