I love Alice! I think it's really sweet and also well known without being too popular. I also quite like the Welsh version Alys, but I wouldn't use it for fear of having to constantly correct people and/or it looking trendy to some.

Love the name Alice and if my DH liked it too, then I'd consider using it in the future.

I like it. It is simple and sweet, and it is the name of one of my favorite songs, "Alice" by Cocteau Twins.

While I don't see myself actually using it as a first name, I like Alice. It sounds quaint and on the dainty side without being frilly and overly delicate sounding. I have a great-aunt named Alice who is a wonderful person, so I like it even more because of her.

It's so blah. I picture this old-before-her-time, hard-looking Wal-mart cashier who's been standing at the same register for the past seventeen years and who does her job only well enough not to get fired but not well enough to ever be promoted. Or else I picture a smart-alecky, know-it-all teenage literary snob.

I don't care for it. It sounds frumpy and I don't like Alice in Wonderland anyway.

I don't love it, but I don't dislike it either. I find it sweet, classy and underused. (in my area).

Alice (Mary) was my grandmother's name, so I'm biased. But I always used to wonder why it wasn't more popular. It's so delicate and pretty sounding. It reminds me of lace. Now it seems to be on the rise again -- yay, Team Alice.

But it's been on the top 10 here in Sweden for a while.
