Help[Opinions] Samantha
I have a question to all English speaking people on this board. My name is Samantha, but since I live in Germany and Germans often have problems with English pronounciation I pronounce my name SAH-MAN-TAH (or something like this). Would this sound strange to an Eglish speaking person?

It all depends, but usually most people here say Samantha sa-MAN-tha

It is a bit strange because in the USA at least we do pronounce it with the TH sound but since our culture is so diverse if we are corrected about the how a name is pronounced we will try to say it the correct way afterwards. :)

The pronouciation with the th sound is the right one but Germans would pronounce it as an s - sound.
