I like Sylvie a lot. I used to think it was a bit old fashioned, as I had a very old neighbour called Sylvia, but I have recently met someone my age called Sylvie and it's really grown on me. It's classy and charming.

Sylvie, no; Sylvia, yes. Sylvie is all nickname to me! But Sylvia and Josephine make an elegant pair; as would Sylvie and Josie on informal occasions.
