What do you think of this name (specifically, this spelling)? I really like it, and I prefer this to Madeline.
When I hear Madeleine, I usually think of the lovely Titanic passenger Madeleine Astor instead of missing girl Madeleine McCann.

I like this spelling, too. Actually, I like almost every spelling for this name. I'm not picky.
I don't even think of Madeleine McCann. Madeleine Astor is a lucky namesake.

I was so glad to have found out about Madeleine Astor because I remember the coverage of the Madeleine McCann case, which annoyed me to death.

Madeleine is my favorite spelling and pronunciation. :) I think it's a lovely name.

I much prefer Madeline, whether it's the French pronunciation or the English. To me, a madeleine is a type of cookie.

I guess it's okay, but one of my aunts name is Madelaine (yeah, that spelling), and the past few months she has really been a pain in the ass. Long story, but because of her, I don't like the name nearly as much as I used to.
I do prefer Madeleine over Madeline though.

Far and away my favorite spelling of the name.
I really like it, but the different spellings and pronunciations are a turn off for me. I'd only use it as a middle name, personally.
