What do you think of the name Ira? And do you like the combination Ira Thomas? Does it go well as a sibling to Shane Michael? Thanks :)

I love it, I think it sounds sharp. Ira Thomas is great. Goes wonderfully with Shane Michael.

i love the name Ira, both because of the sound and the meaning, but I, like Catherine, would never use it because of the IRA

Ira Thomas sounds great, but I would never use Ira because it looks way too much like the IRA.

I love the sound of the name, though I dislike how short it appears when written. I'm not sure that it really goes well with Shane. Shane Michael sounds very modern, while Ira Thomas has an old-fashioned feel.
