I quite like it, but I still prefer Xavier (and I like it spelled Ksavier or Ksaver).

It's so unusual and distinctive that it, for me, brings to mind the only person I ever heard of who has that name: Xaviera Hollander, the Happy Hooker. She was pretty famous in the seventies.

The feminine names that add -ina are okay, but the ones that just add -a are not my cup of tea at all.

I love it. I'm trying to get Xaviera Hollander out of my head, because it can get to the point that you let associations ruin too many names. I refuse to let her ruin Xaviera!
