Alexandra has always loved children and, unlike her Mother, wanted to adopt them while she's young so that she can play games and keep up with them. So, about a year after the coronation, the young couple adopted a baby girl who was abandoned at the Priestesses door.
Both Alexandra and Paraskeve are flourishing as parents, though Alexandra has a bit of trouble sometimes since Marina only adopted older children and she's not used to diapers or constant crying, but they have grown closer as a result.
Paraskeve is takes care of Leocadia most often than Alexandra does, though Alexandra helps as often as she can, and the baby only ever needs her wet nurses at feeding time.
