How would you rate Edwina (1-10)?
1 = "I'd rather chew glass."

I'm not a fan of the "ween" sound in it. But I wouldn't rather chew glass. :)

I find it downright homely, and it reminds me of a pig call..."SooWEE! SooWEE! EdWEEna!" Fits right in.
I give it a 2 only because I'm charmed by the idea of a woman called Ed. I just wouldn't use Edwina to get there.

I'll give it a 4. While I don't hate it, the "wee" sound in the middle doesn't appeal to me. I find Edina more attractive sounding.
Ditto this
I'll give it an 8. I love it! It's unapologetically awkward, and therein lies its charm and genuine elegance.
Pronounced ed-WIN-ə, I give it a 7.
Pronounced ed-WEEN-ə, I give it a 3.

Ed-weeeen-a.
Ed-weeeen-a.
5 = a little better than waiting at a stoplight.
"Secretly" I like it about 7 = strawberries from my garden, tart because they had to be picked a day early to beat the slugs. But I think it'd be unfun to actually be named Edwina, since it's one of those "man's names with an A tacked on," and because it has that wiener sound. So, 5.

3. I like it, but I can't get the "weena" sound out of my head.
