[Opinions] Richmond
I wonder if this place name is too "place-y" to be a name as well as your opinion.

There's a character on The IT Crowd named Richmond. I love the character, so it kind of appeals to me... though it's not one I'd consider using myself.
I once saw a dedication plaque at a local library with two men (a father and son) named Richmond whose family had contributed to the opening of the facility. I thought they had an amazing style...that is, until I read on and saw that the son's brother was named Khristopher.

It feels very placey to me. I go through Richmond, Va pretty regularly in the car.
I do know of one Richmond, he went by Rich. He was a real jerk, and the name does seem a bit hoity-toity, but as far as place names go it feels pretty namey actually.

...upon Thames
It's too placey for me, but it's not that bad - if you had two grandpas called Richard and Raymond, it might be just the job. :D

It is a bit too placey and also surnamey for me.
My first thought is the place in London, then the brand of sausages, then Noel Fielding's character from IT Crowd.

...Virginia.
Actually, it's not so bad as a name. It's kind of catchy.
