It's been a crazy year. To begin with, I had a terrible lung infection that nearly cost me my life. You don't realize how precious it is until you nearly lose it! I was originally admitted to the hospital to be checked for malaria of all things, but ended up having the lung infection. I'm doing fine now though, I recover quickly. My husband lost his job at the newpaper, the budget was getting really tight, but he got another job as editor of a sports magazine, so we moved across the city to new house that's closer to his office.
Teagan is graduating from college this year and will get a great job working for a big time news magazine. He and Zoe have been married for nearly three years and have two beautiful children, Gina Hope (3) and Finlay Roan (1).
Elliot is doing well for himself. He lives in a small house in a town that's about an hour's drive from our family's new residence. His last girlfriend, Verity, broke up with him, but he's found a wonderful new girlfriend Helen Rebecca James. She prefers to go by "Becky".
Hope is planning to attend a prestigious college in the fall where she will major in music. She is not dating right now, but bought a puppy recently, an adorable Bermese Mountain Dog named Rutherford.
Liana recently married a young doctor, Hugo Blake Emerson. He's a great guy, but very traditional. He doesn't believe that his wife should work, so she is trying to do her best as a house wife which is not an easy role for her. It will definately take some getting used to. She'll be taking some classes at the local community college this fall and work towards her AA degree.
Sebastian doesn't have ADHD after all, and he's doing much better. He doesn't work as hard as his siblings did in school, but he still manages to pull off a respectable report card. He's not really into sports, but loves art and would like to pursue that as a career someday.
