[Opinions] Luca
What do you think of the name Luca for a boy?
I know some people say it sound effeminate, but there's something I really love about it.

I love it and pretty much every related name.
I think the spelling Luka makes it tougher.
That's what I thought at first too, and then my friend named her son Luca and it totally changed my mind. It's strong without being overly macho, and unusual without being bizarre.
I think it's a lovely name and don't find it effeminate at all. I see it as quite a strong name, so not girly in any way to me!
It's not hypermasculine or anything, but I think it's handsome.
I don't mind Luca. It's popular in Australia at the moment, as is Lucas (which I dislike), but it seems weird to me on little boys without Italian backgrounds. I know. I should totally not feel that way. I think different ethnic names are anyone's game, but Luca is that one exception for me, for no real reason at all.
I don't think it is overly effeminate. Micah, Judah, Ezra, even Sasha I find all very masculine.

More mobster in an Armani suit than effeminate. I don't like it very much due to the fact some use it as a girls name and my said image of the name.
It really IS effeminate.
Effeminate as in "purse-wearing, overly groomed, and snooty European guy obsessed with soccer".

The ticket said that...
he was in an open relationship (you know, promiscuous).
