[Opinions] Micah
My love for Micah is increasing. Technically, it is also my spiritual name (sort of). I remarked that my none of my names were Biblical, and my congregation gave it to me at baptism (I was 27). It was sort of a joke, because I was baptized in a lake in South Dakota that was full of muscovite and biotite (forms of mica), and I came up after submersion slightly shimmery.
I could see myself using it for a son.

Good friends of ours have a DS named Micah, about the same age as our son. It is a nice name.
It grew on me a lot over the past six months or so. I like it a lot. I think it's not too overly-masculine or too delicate. It strikes a nice balance. Also, it is familiar to a lot of people, but not common.
I love the name Micah! I have a friend named Micah, but I can't think of any others I know off the top of my head, so I think it's pretty uncommon. I like Micah because it's not "too Biblical-sounding" or "too butch" or anything, it's just quiet and a bit understated, but unusual and 'there'.
That's a funny back story! I like Micah too and would definitely consider it, is my husband weren't so anti Old-Testament names.
I loooooove it. I was a little scared when opening this that you might be asking about it for a girl :P
I tend to like most Biblical names ending with -ah, and Micah is no exception. I like that it's familiar, but not as plain as Michael. I prefer it as a full name on a boy, but also like it as a nn for Micaiah on either gender.
