Hello, I wanted to answere question from aug. 5th post regarding the meaning of the name Soccorro. My aunt is named Soccorro. She is from Mexico and she said it means "Help". Which I think is a very good definition of her personality. She is was mother to all of her younger siblings growing up, was the helper in the kitchen growing up and today is an amazing cook. She worked for social services and helps a great many people in her community. She is a servant to people and I don't mean this in a negative way (as in slave). I think of her more as a spirital servant (as in the way Jesus is to man kind).
