One of my friends name is Sylvia Annaleise
imo, Louise is pretty common in the midwest and midwest-south but is seen as a... country name for lack of better words. Think Thelma and Louise. After living in Miami and almost not hearing it all, I find it's counter-part Louisa more popular.
