[Opinions] Hailey
wdyt? My only problem with it is that it's so freaking popular. I love it though, been a fave for at least 5 years.

I really like it, but prefer the spelling Hayley. It is popular, but if you really like it, then I wouldn't let that put you off.

It's less popular where I live, though still too widely used for me. The normal spelling is Hayley here, which I prefer. I also like Haylie._____________________________________________________________________Elinor

HaylieI've never heard of that spelling before! It's very cute. :)

It was cute on Hailey (sp?) Mills in the 60's "The Parent Trap." But that's the problem. It's the name of a spunky teen-ager. I can't imagine this name aging well. (See? I didn't even go off on my "only if it's from your own family tree" rant. Oh. Never mind.)

your right, i can't picture a 70 year old little grandmother named Hailey.

That's not really a problem. By the time a child named Hailey is 70, it will have grown into a grandmother-type name._____________________________________________________________________Elinor

I don't like it at all. All -ailey names sound whiny and perpetually immature to me. The only one I have any tolerance for is Kayleigh (this spelling only), because I had a friend by that name.Array

I agree.I really don't like this name and it is so very popular. I think is sounds like the name of a bubbly, bouncing, blonde cheerleader. No offence to any blonde cherrleaders out there, its just way too cutsey for my taste.
