I've been thinking about this a lot lately! Roxana is the most visually appealing for me, but I prefer the sound of Roxanna. All three names (as well as Roxane) are delicious, though!

Roxana is the best in my opinion but not by much. The double N's make me think of it as just another combo form Anne, like Annabelle or Maryanne. I like the ancient feel to the single N spelling.

I like all three, but I prefer Roxanna. I pronounce the ending of Roxanna like Anna and the ending of Roxana AH-na. I like Roxanne and Roxanne more than Roxana, which sounds a bit harsh unless you pronounce the ending like Anna.

Annie and Roxie are both good nicknames.

My middle name is Roxanne. I like it better than I like Starla, that's for sure. My mother picked Roxanne because she liked the Police song about Roxanne and the red light.

I guess I just like Roxanne. Never really thought about Roxanna or Roxana. They're not bad but I think they are a bit much. There is also a tiny town here in Delaware called Roxanna.

A couple of my cousins call me Roxie, and I don't mind them doing it, but in general I don't like the name Roxie, it sounds like a go-go dancer from 1974, or somebody on Hee Haw. Annie is real hillbilly, and seems a cop-out nickname for Roxanne.

Mmm, I pronounce Roxana and Roxanna differently, Roxana ending like ah-na ans Roxanna like an-na. At first I definitely preferred Roxanna because of the look, it looks more complete but the more I said Roxana the more I liked it. Really pretty sound. An old friend's mom I knew was named Roxana and she was from Peru, went by Roxy/Roxie. I feel like a name like that, especially with the nickname Roxie, you'd have to own it. I cannot see a quiet bookworm girl named Roxy. Roxy/Roxanna is just a very outgoing, spunky name, I can't imagine one not being like that.

The only one I like is Roxanne, nn Roxy. It sometimes makes me think of a surfer girl and then I like it. However I also often think of a prostitute :/

Roxanna is my top girls name at the moment, I have love it ever since I was a little girl. I would think a little Roxanna or Roxanne would be charming. I would use both Roxy and Annie as nicknames.

My favorite is Roxanna, followed by Roxanne. I'd be pleased to meet someone with either name. Roxie and Annie are both great nicknames, and I love how there's both a sassy nickname and a sweet nickname available. No matter what her personality, she's set.

I want to like Roxana, but I have the same problem with it that I have with Isadora: I want to break it up into its component sounds until I'm left with an incomplete sentance. In Roxana's case, it's "rocks on a." Rocks on a what??

Roxana seems more authentic, exotic, pretty and interesting to me. I love it. Roxy is a cute nickname.

Roxanne. I like Roxanna, too, but Roxanne is nicer. I think it has spark.
