[Opinions] It makes his parents sound like Elvis devotees. (m)

I love Elvis as much as the next kid--I've been to his house, listened to his music--but I can't imagine using Presley, even as a middle name. It sounds very contrived to me, well thought out so that the boy sounds hip. And he might, for about three years--and then he'd just sound dated.
I'd rather see a kid named Elvis, honestly. The name has a great sound, and it's connected to more than one famous person (singers Presley and Costello, ice skater Stojko). Like Winona, it sounds rather one-namey, but when you take a look at it, it isn't. Aron, Elvis' middle name, wouldn't be a bad choice either--it's nice and subtle.
If you absolutely must use Presley, a middle name would be safest. In the center of a name, it looks less like an ovine attempt to follow the crowds and more like a tribute to The King. Of course, if you have absolutely no interest in Mr. Presley and are just interested in the way the name sounds, feel free to use it wherever you like. Just know that the -ley fad isn't going to last forever, and when it ends, Presley'll sound just as dated as Kayleigh.
Array (off to add Elvis to her favourites list)

`Cause they understand
If I could take one moment into my hands
Mister, I ain't a boy--no I'm a man,
And I believe in a promised land.

unfortunately, yeah
Elvis is a hugely famous character and everybody recognizes the name Elvis Presley. To name a child Presley is the same as naming him Elvis. People will associate the name with Elvis whether that's what you intended or not.
Now, if that is what you want - go for it! lol It's not a bad name in and of itself.
