[Opinions] Zoe
I love the name Zoe! Which means life in Greek. It's also a famous historical name for two saints and for the Byzantine Empress Zoe, who ruled for many years. In Greek, when someone passes away, we say "Zoe sa sas" which means "life to you." It's a life affirming way of offering your condolences. Our loved ones live in us and in our memories. I couldn't think of a better name.

Its meaning, history, and connections are undeniably interesting to those who seek details, but I am afraid that the general population of those you meet likely will not relate it to what you've said. Zoe is just Zoe to the majority if individuals... a known name, ranging from common to uncommon (depending on location and year), and sweetly endearing in it's young, feminine flair.I am certainly not trying to waver your opinion and decision, Justinian.
It is a cute, legitimate, entirely usable name, though not fully my personal taste (in regards to it's sound).- Francesca

I like it but to me it almost sounds too cutsey.
