Three surprisingly!My second cousin Charles.
A neighbor we know also goes by Charles as does his grown son, Charles Jr. So that's three Charles I know!I also know two Charlies (full name Charles).

Oh and I know one Chuck.

One, he's in his early 20s. But I probably only know about three all up. The other two are Charlie.

I have actually never met a Charles; it's rare here. Carl or Karl is very common, though and I think I've never met a Carl/Karl who hasn't been called Calle/Kalle. That's the Swedish equivalent of Charlie.

NoneI knew one Charles in high school, and he usually went by Chuckles (and then eventually Chuck).

One, he's the only Charles I know. He's in his early 30s and suits his name as he's rather old-fashioned and seems very formal. I couldn't really imagine him as a Charlie.

None, but...I haven't actually met that many Charleses. I can only think of two off the top of my head. One went by Chuck, and the other went by a nickname derived from his surname. FWIW, I think Charles is fine without a nickname.

I know two.
And I think that's all the Chales's I know. (misplaced comma, I think.One Charles, two Charleses.)Well, Prince Charles. But I don't know him.Not personally.

Same here. I graduated from high school with a Chuck, and I know another from church. My cousin's son is Charlie. He was even announced as Charlie, not Charles. I know a 6 year old Charlie at work, but I've never seen if that was his full name instead of Charles. A retired teacher who often subs is Charlie. I think Carlos went through a short Charlie phase, but he's Carlos. There are some Karl/ Carls in the area too, but they are all Karl/ Carl. Prince Charles is the only one I've heard of without a nn.

One, I thinkMy great-uncle Charles has always been Uncle Charles to family. Although apparently he goes by Chuck to friends I've recently found out.
