[Opinions] Phoebe
I really like the name Phoebe, I'm just not keen on the spelling or the way ot looks at all. What do you think?

I've never liked the name, but I do prefer the original spelling. :)

I love the name and the way it looks doesn't bother me at all.

I can't think of anyway to change the spelling that it wouldn't look super weird. Here's my suggestion, why not use Fiona? It has the same "Fee" sound without the repeating rhyming syllables. And even if people say it reminds them of Shrek, they can't deny how classy it is.

I really like Phoebe, too. I also love the spelling and the way it looks, so I can't help you there. :)

I love the Phoebe of it but, like you, have never been sold on the spelling. That said, I've never really found a spelling alternative that looks reasonable to me. Phebe is okay, but I wouldn't go so far as Pheebee, Feebee, Feebie, Phieby or anything.

Sorry but I dislike everything about it. From as young as I can remember this has been one of my least favourite names: the spelling/way it looks is unappealing to me in every way. Plus I'm not too keen on the FEE sound anyway.

Any other spelling looks ridiculous and illiterate: Phebe, Feebee, Phebie. Ugh.Anyway, I don't like the sound of it either. Fee Bee. It sounds so dumb. Like a cheap bird that you plug in and it does that Fee Bee everytime you walk past it.

I agree about all the other spellings looking strange. Phebe and Phebie look like they should be pronounced FEB and FEB-ee, and Feebee is just too ridiculous. At the same time, the more traditional Phoebe looks like it should be pronounced FOBE (rhyming with probe) or FOE-bee.Overall, I just don't care for the look or sound of Phoebe.

Thank you RoxStar.
I happen to love the spelling of my name, and the sound. With Phoebe I always had the idea it was pronounced FOO-be
But I agree Feebee and Phebie are indeed Ugh.
