[Opinions] Re: Joelle
For which gender? I know a boy named Joelle (Jo-ell) and I tihnk it suits him. Almost like Joel, but the "el" is pronounced as a seperate syllable. I didn't like the name when i first heard it, but it's growing on me!

for a girl. It's the French female version of Joel.

lol, yah I was wondering that because 1) Joelle looks French and 2) isn't the 'elle' in French for girls? That's what I always thought. To me, a male Joelle is the equivalent to a male Savanna or Maria :) Why use Joelle for a boy when Joel is perfectly fine though? Not too popular or trendy or anything. Just normal :I do like Joelle for a girl though. It's very girly sounding. Very pretty.
