Elaina looks very odd, but it makes the pronunciation easy, which is a great advantage.
Elena - where I live, it's eh-LEEuh-nuh, which you'll admit is not the best!
Alana - I'd say it like Alannah: a-LAN-a.
Lena - in English, LEE-na; otherwise LEEuh-nuh.
Alena - no idea!

1) e-LEH-nuh
2) uhl-AH-nuh
3) This one I'm not sure. If they were European, I'd assume LEH-nuh. If English/American/Australian, I'd assume LEE-nuh.
4) Again unsure. ah-LEH-nuh or uh-LEEN-nuh, depending on nationality.
eh-LAYN-ah: If I heard this, I'd probably assume their name was spelt Elena, because I know that alot of English speakers equate the EH sound with AY. This annoys me. We're perfectly capable of making the EH sound - we do it all the time with bear, air, lair, stare etc.
So I'd prefer Elaina for the LAYN-ah pronunciation. I think it looks alright.
