It always makes me think of my school biology teacher whose name was Morag Cameron
I don't like it and think Moira is much much nicer

My Scottish friend's sister is Morag, and it's never given her a moment's trouble. I find it pleasantly eccentric. Whether that is or isn't a good thing where you live, I don't know!

In Scotland it's dated and an old lady name. I agree it doesn't sound particularly nice to me.

It's just awful, in sound and looks. More rag. Morgue. Just yuck.
