JD and Emily were more than surprised when they discovered that Emily was pregnant for the first time. Both being struggling college students, the couple contemplated giving their child up for adoption. Emily finally decided she couldn't live with herself if she'd done it. The expecting mother kept going to college, though most of her classes were completed online. Six months later, a bright-eyed baby was swaddled and placed in her arms. They decided to honor JD and gave their son his middle name. Paul Emerson Fischer was a happy baby who only cried when he needed something and was spoiled to no end.
JD and Emily were content with their small family and still had no intentions of marriage. JD graduated from the University of Florida with his Bachelor's in Political Science and was into his first year at law school. Emily had worked a little slower, but was finishing up her junior year at UF. That's when they found out that they were once again expecting. The pregnancy went smoothly, but the delivery did not. The umbilical cord was wrapped around their baby's neck. Thanks to some very skilled doctors, they were able to safely deliver a healthy baby girl. This time they decided to honor Emily's grandmother, Eula, who had recently passed away. Thus, their little girl was named Eulalie Bryce Fischer. She, too, was a happy baby though she demanded more attention.
Paul is fascinated with his little sister and loves helping out his parents. He does get a tad bit jealous from time to time, but he's quickly over it and onto something else.

Noah & Elena didn't wait to waste any more time together, so after Noah moved to New York they soon married and started their family. Little James was born 10 months after their wedding. James was an easy choice for his name as it's Noah's middle name, Noah's father's name, and Noah's gradfathers middle name, it's an Everhart family tradition going back generations for the eldest son of the eldest son.
Alexandra arrived only 18 months after James. She was named after Elena's grandmother, Alejandra. Jack and Laura's lives changed the moment Laura found out she was pregnant. The two of them reworked their finances and were able to figure out a way to make ends meet on just Jack's salary. For six months they saved up all of Laura's salary to use as extra spending money, and Laura left her job three days before their first child was born in order to devote all of her time to the baby. Henry Lucas Rosenberger was born two weeks early, but in good health. He was an adorable baby--always giggling or smiling contentedly. Laura really enjoyed being a full time mother, and Jack, though sometimes his hours were longer, was proud to be the primary breadwinner. Six months after Henry was born, Laura found out she was expecting again! Four days after Henry turned a year old, his brother Kennedy joined the family. Kennedy is a little more fussy than his older brother, but he seems fascinated by Henry just as Henry is fascinated by Kennedy. Henry didn't really understand the concept of having another brother, but he's accepted Kennedy into the family without protest.

Both Brian and Mia were born in a hospital. Labor was quite easy for both kids. Brian is older than Mia by 2 and a half years. They were both from natural causes. Brian was planned, but Mia was a bit of a surprise. Jake and Sophie had want to wait at least 3 years before trying for another. They both wanted kids.

Tommy's birth was very easy for Alaina, no complications and an easy labor. Maisie's, who is named after Alaina's mother - Margaret, birth was harder than Tommy's. Alaina was on bedrest for most of the pregnancy with Maisie. Both babies were planned and the Bauer's couldn't wait to start a family.

Leander and Emmie had briefly discussed having children a number of times before, but hadn't expected to become parents for a good couple of years yet. Nonetheless, Bea's birth wasn't overly inconvenient either, and they soon agreed that they were ready for their change in lifestyle. Emmie was concerned that she wasn't ready to be a parent just yet, but as the due date drew near, her concerns lessened. Bea was born a few days later than expected, in an uneventful birth. They decided to call her Tabea-June as they were unable to decide between the two names. Both Leander and Clemency spoil their new arrival, even though they know they shouldn't.

Luke and Carrigan are getting along very well together. Luke was very excited when Carrigan was finally old enough to walk and really play with him. They tussle and fight like most brothers do but it's mostly playful and they usually work together to get up to mischief and adventure. They are fairly close in age, less than two years, so AJ and Sami think they will remain close growing up.

Nora's birth went without complications. May was deeply touched by Castor and Sin's decision to give the baby her name.
