[Opinions] Jemima
I adore the name Jemima, have for a long time. Here in Australia it's not very popular and I like that. I don't want to ask whether you like the name or not, I'm wanting to know your opinions on Jasper and Jemima as siblings. Ordinary I'm not really a fan of siblings names starting with the same letter, but for Jemima I could make an exception! I only bring this name to the forefront because DH has recently had a major change of heart about the name and has now given it the green light! To say I was shocked would be an understatement! So what do we think, Jasper and Jemima as siblings? Thanks in advance.

Two J names are a coincidence. Three or more would be a theme. Proceed with joy, Jasper and Jemima lover!

Jasper and Jemima work perfectly together. Yeah, they're quite aliterative, but they are both gorgeous names. I know a Jemima, and I'm Australian. She goes by Mimi, which I reckon is a great nickname for it.

It has terrible connotations here in the U.S. I wouldn't use it.

I love love love both Jasper and Jemima, I so want to use Jemima but alas its not nearly as "acceptable" here in the US. I don't normally like siblings with the same letter either but in this case the names are just too good not to use them. So...I say go for it! and I'll try my best not to be jealous :)

I love Jemima, and I think Jemima & Jasper is a sensational sibset!

I think Jasper and Jemima are quite matchy, but not overly and I actually think they're really cute together.Incidentally, I think Jemima is lovely :)

Oh I adore Jemima. Love it to pieces. I know you didn't want opinions, but I had to say that ;) If only it wasn't too close to my other favoruite Geneva, I'd use it for sure, but I love Geneva just that little bit more.Jasper and Jemima are slightly on the cutesy side, but it's workable. They have different enough sounds and they are both such great names that I have o giv it the thumbs up. I'd stay away from J names if you had a 3rd though. Twos a coincidence, threes a theme.Yay Jemima!

I think they work. They both have that Civil War-era feel to them.

I love it. They compliment each other really nicely without being matchy. I'm all about promoting the use of Jemima!

I love it! Jasper and Jemima sound awesome together. I don't mind same-letter siblings as long as it's not too matchy (like James and Jemima, or Adam and Adeline).I used to love Jemima, but I always get negative comments about "Aunt Jemima", so I'm not sure it's usable in the US. Since you're in Australia, you should definitely use it. I would be sooo happy if you ever used Jemima!
