I like to avoid matching initials for twins, but Josephine and Jacqueline aren't horrible as a twinset. I've heard far worse. Mind you, I'm pronouncing Jacqueline the way I usually hear it in English--with the final syllable said more like -lyn than -leen. If they're both -leen, then they're too matchy. I think "Josie and Jackie" verges on too cutesy, so I'd opt for an alternate nickname for at least one of them.

My cousin is Jacqueline Mae...sort of. Her mother mangled the spelling of Jacqueline because she thought it was "too hard." Still, I've always thought it was a pretty name. Perhaps Jacqueline Mae and Josephine Ruby?
