Quinlan is an Irish surname. It is an anglicization of Ó Caoinlean, which means "grandson [descendant of] Caoinlean. Caoinlean is an Irish name meaning "beautiful shape."

Quinlan means "FULL OF GRACE" or "GRACEFULL" It is an Irish name. There is a different meaning if you chose the Celtic version of Quinlan means something else. That is "PERFECTLY BUILT, STRONG or ATHLETICALLY BUILT."
