[Opinions] Ammiel/Amiel?
I met the cutest child ever today while I was skating. His name was Amiel (or Ammiel, I don't know the spelling) and he had curly, dark-brown hair, tan skin and bright blue eyes. He speaks French, but I live in Ottawa so that's not uncommon at all. WDYT of the name?

I like it a lot. I already loved Jeremiel and Remiel; I like the -iel sound, apparently.

Wow, I really like that. I think I've only seen it once before. It's definitely different, but it could certainly work on a 'real' child. :b

I love it. Amiel... was it pro. ah-mee-el or ay-mee-el? I prefer ah-mee-el. That sounds lovely.

I think it could be both...(m)He pronounced it AH-mee-el, but it could be because he's French. I looked it up in my "World of Baby Names" book and it says it's pronounced like AY-mee-el. But I like the "ah" sound better too.
